            -Church named Spring Lake Memorial Missionary Baptist.

            - Church design recommended by (Deacon) William E. McLean

            -1st  Service held in K’s Kindergarten January 4, 1974.

            -Groundbreaking for new sanctuary on Chapel Hill Road, May 1974.

            -December 1974 ribbon cutting and first service in the sanctuary.

            -1987 the Fellowship hall constructed and dedicated.

            -1989 mortgage to fellowship hall burned.

            -January 1991 church becomes mortgage free.

            -1993 new property acquired and landscaped.

            -1995 sacred crosses mounted on sanctuary.

            -1995 purchased 1st church van.

            -July 2001 groundbreaking for senior apartment complex.

            -August 2002 church bond program for senior complex construction.

            -November 2003 ribbon cutting for John Memorial Apartments.

            -November 2005 1st Church Directory published.

            -December 2005 new hymnals purchased for sanctuary.

            -July 2006 stage curtains purchased for fellowship hall.

            -2011 new tables purchased for fellowship hall.

            -2014 new lights installed throughout the church.

            -2015 projection screen installed in the fellowship hall.

            -September 2017 mortgage to John Memorial Apartments was paid in full.

            - March 2018 new ceiling fans w lights & exhaust fan in fellowship hall, new roof for the  sanctuary was installed.

            - Sept. 2018 Reverend John McKoy* served 43 years as pastor until his death.

            - January 2019 security cameras installed.

            - March 10, 2019  cornerstone was placed in the front right side of the church.

            - July 14, 2019  fellowship hall dedicated in honor of Mrs. Inez D. McKoy.

            - 2021 Bathrooms in the church were remodeled.

            -  July 2022 window frames upgraded, exterior doors painted & new awning over doors.

            - 3rd Pastor, July 24, 2022 Reverend Vel E. Lewis.

            - September 2022 new video cameras were installed in church/fellowship hall.

            - November 2022 pastor office had a makeover.
